Maker with Rame Parish Council has a vacancy for a Parish Councillor.
We are looking for enthusiastic local residents who care about our community and want to make a positive difference.
No previous experience is necessary – just a willingness to serve your community and attend regular monthly council meetings (4th Monday of the month, 7pm)
To be eligible, you must:
· Be 18 years or over
· Be a British citizen, a qualifying Commonwealth citizen, or a citizen of any EU member state
· Meet at least one of the following:
o Be registered as a local government elector for the parish
o Have occupied land or property in the parish for the last 12 months
o Have your principal place of work in the parish for the last 12 months
o Have lived in the parish or within 3 miles of it for the last 12 months
